Location
Bellwald is located at 1560 metres altitude on a sunny plateau in the Swiss Alps. A charming and picturesque community in the canton of Valais, it is characterised by its natural beauty, characterful timber construction and rich cultural heritage. As a winter or summer destination, Bellwald offers both visitors and residents a high quality of life, with a wide range of leisure activities. In addition to restaurants, the village offers a bank and a supermarket.
A little above the village is the Bellwald sports centre, with valley station of the chairlift and mountain station of the future connection to Fiesch (Aletsch Arena ski area). Here you will also find sports shops, cosy après-ski and a car park.
The chalet is just above, about a 5-minute walk away, in the car-free area of ‘Gassen’. Peacefully at the edge of the forest, but also practically at the slopes, so you can safely speak of ski / ski-out! At the front (south) you look out over the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Description
Attractive detached chalet in the ski village of Bellwald. Chalet ‘’Sonnehorn‘’ is located at 1660 metres altitude, at the edge of the forest and practically at the slopes (ski-in / ski-out). The house was built in 1974. The ground floor has a solid construction with exterior walls of cement blocks, the upper floor is built in timber-frame construction and the roof is of eternite.
Ground floor layout:
Storage/skiraum with door to exterior; hallway with stairs access to the three bedrooms and bathroom with shower and second toilet. The master bedroom has built-in wardrobes and French doors to the outside.
Upper floor layout:
Entrance hall with cloakroom and toilet/laundry room; living room with high ceiling and magnificent fireplace, kitchen and French doors to large balcony facing south and west; spiral staircase downstairs.
